Vineland Four Corners project getting $14 million in tax credits

Published: Friday, July 04, 2008

  From Press staff reports

VINELAND - The developer of the Four Corners project has announced a large award in state tax credits toward a residential and commercial portion of the plan.

Hans Lampart, head of Eastern Pacific Development Corp., said the project had been granted more than $14 million in such credits.

The award covers primary financing for the work on the project's southwestern corner, Lampart said.

The site, which currently holds the East Landis Hotel, will include affordable-housing apartments for seniors, to be rented for between $300 and $525 per month, and 4,800 square feet of commercial space.

Lampart thanked state Sen. Jeff Van Drew, D-Cape May, Cumberland, Atlantic, county Freeholder Director Lou Magazzu and former Vineland Mayor Perry Barse for helping secure the credits from the state Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency.
