ATLANTIC CITY - The first racer to be seriously injured at the new Motorsports Park in Millville was in stable condition, an AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center spokeswoman said late Friday night.

Jason Belle, 26, of Franklin Square, N.Y., was hurt at the park Thursday afternoon when the motorcycle he was racing collided with a competitor's bike. He suffered an apparent head injury, a broken arm and a possible hip injury and was airlifted to the Regional Trauma Unit at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City.

The other rider was not injured.
