Vineland school devotes night to math

VINELAND - Making Sense of Math Night will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, at Rossi Middle School, 2572 Palermo Ave.

This event is a workshop to help parents understand some of the new and more challenging math skills in grades six to eight.

The evening begins with a free dinner. Then, parents will be divided by grade levels and spend an hour with the school's math teachers discussing math concepts and curriculum.

Everyone who attends receives a gift provided to the school through its PRIDE grant.

Parents who intend to participate should contact Pam English at penglish@vineland.org by Tuesday, Oct. 14.
