Anthony Caruso Jr., 37, of Bass River was driving his pickup truck towing a boat on Leektown Road at 5:09 p.m. when he slowed to turn into a driveway, according to the State Police Tuckerton Station.

As he slowed, a motorcycle ridden by Charles Haywood Jr., 36, of Little Egg Harbor Township collided with the trailer and was ejected from his bike.

Haywood suffered injuries to his right leg and back, and was airlifted to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, city campus, police said. Caruso was not injured.
