Eagles sign free agent QB

The Eagles now have four quarterbacks on their roster.

They signed Casey Hansen, a rookie free agent out of Norfolk State, on Wednesday, just in time for him to participate in the team's upcoming rookie camp on May 20-22.

Hansen, 6-foot-6 and 220 pounds, has no chance to make the regular-season roster ahead of Donovan McNabb, Kevin Kolb or A.J. Feeley. But a strong performance in the various minicamps could merit an invitation to training camp and a chance to show his talen in the preseason games.

Hansen spent two years at Norfolk State after playing at Colorado State and Chaffey Junior College (Calif.), respectively. He threw for 4,277 yards and 19 touchdowns at Norfolk.

In addition, the Eagles also signed rookie free agent linebackers Gary Butler, of California (Pa.), and Brigham Young's Mark Staffieri.
