Golf courses near Atlantic City

If you are looking to tee it up, you’ve come to the right place. The region is becoming a popular destination resort for golf. Atlantic City Country Club, a private club when it opened in 1897, recently went public. The club, which has played host to six USGA championships, has one of the best layouts on the East Coast. Also, it’s where the term “birdie’’ was coined. At the Vineyard Golf Club at Renault, the course winds its way through a vineyard at Renault Winery. How cool is that? The area has many other clubs that have made the lists of best places to play in various national magazines. There are greens fees to fit any budget, particularly if you are willing to play in the afternoon when the rates at most courses drop. Only public courses are listed. All greens fees are subject to change without notice by the courses. Most courses haves rates that vary by season. Please call ahead to confirm prices.
