After a series of booming noises and vibrations shook much of New Jersey last week, more shaking vibrations are being reported Monday.

About 1:45 p.m., a boom shook houses in the Cardiff section of Egg Harbor Township.

More booming and shaking was felt in Ocean County, according to NewsWorks.

The violent tremors from last week were sonic booms caused by military jets out of Maryland making test flights over New Jersey.

The booming sound was intensified by a meteorological condition called an inversion.

No damage or injuries have been reported, and the tremors seem to be fewer and less violent than last week's event.
