Cedar Creek High School’s Caleb Graves hit two free throws with seven seconds left to win 55-54 over Vineland in a Cape-Atlantic League boys basketball game Wednesday.

A Vineland shot missed at the buzzer. Damon Mitchell led the host Pirates with 17 points, including 11 in the second half. Graves scored 15 points and Jacob Knight had 12. For Vineland, Charlie Ware scored 19 points and Kevin Ellis had 11.

Mike Greenman led St. Augustine Prep with 17 points, including five 3-pointers. All four of Blake Rossell’s points came in overtime to help the Hermits to victory.

The win moves St. Augustine coach Paul Rodio into a tie for third place in the state for career victories with 777 with Bob Farrell, longtime coach of Seton Hall Prep.

Tim Delaney scored a game-high 18 points for Pitman.
