Garret Kerr (Middle Township) scored a career-high 32 points, including a game-tying, fade-away 3-pointer that sent the game into overtime as the University of the Sciences men's basketball team rallied from a 10-point, second-half deficit to earn an 83-75 win over Kutztown University on Sunday at the Bobby Morgan Arena in Philadelphia.

Kerr also led all scorers with 18 points and 16 rebounds in a win over Holy Family University 57-52 on Dec. 19.

Lucas Levenson (Atlantic City) scored four points, grabbed nine rebounds, had two assists and two blocks in Drew University’s 65-63 loss to Centenary College at the Red Robin Holiday Tournament at DeSales University last weekend.

Levenson had six rebounds, four assists as Drew won the consolation game 81-74 against Penn State Abington.

Girls basketball

Bria Hill (Atlantic City) totaled 12 points and five rebounds in Rowan’s 54-49 loss to Neumann University on Dec. 20. Forward Dena Moses (Vineland) produced a career mark of nine rebounds for the Profs. ... Gina DiDomenico (Egg Harbor Township) led all scorers with a career high 20 points for Eastern University’s 74-64 victory over host Lycoming College in the consolation game of the Hoops for Hounds Tournament on Saturday.


Wesley College’s Brian Cranmer (St. Augustine Prep) was named American Football Coaches Association Division III All-American. In addition, the team captain received first-team Division III South region, second-team Division III All-American and third-team Beyond Sports Network All American Team.
