Vineland police have been searching for a man who robbed the Colonial Bank on South Lincoln Avenue on Thursday afternoon.

Police said the robber entered the bank at 4:04 p.m., put a duffel bag on the counter and pointed a black handgun at the teller and bank manager. He instructed the teller to put money from a drawer into the bag.

He fled and was seen getting into a gold minivan in a nearby parking lot. The minivan headed East on Dante Avenue.

No one was injured. Police did not release how much money was taken.

Police described the robber as 5-feet, 10-inches tall. He wore a red hooded sweatshirt, red baseball cap and black sunglasses, pants and sneakers.
