Taste of Galloway

The Galloway Township Business Association will hold its second annual Taste of Galloway from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Village of Historic Smithville on Route 9.

Participants can sample dishes from many township restaurants, bakeries and shops.

Tickets are $15 and available at www.GallowayBusiness.com or at Colonial Inn, Galloway Nutrition and Maxwell Shellfish.

Score consultants on storm recovery

Volunteer business consultants from Score will host a business roundtable on recovering from Hurricane Sandy from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Richard Stockton College's Carnegie Center, 35 S. Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd., Room 202, Atlantic City. To register, call 609-271-8524.

Score mentors will be available at the Atlantic City Free Public Library, 1 N. Tennessee Ave., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays and at Atlantic Cape Community College's Atlantic City branch, 1535 Bacharach Blvd., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays. Ziereis president of bar association

Donna Michael-Ziereis, a Linwood resident and associate general counsel for AtlantiCare, is the new president of the Atlantic County Bar Association.

Ziereis is also a Linwood Board of Education member and long-time treasurer for the Vincent S. Haneman American Inn of Court.

She is an adjunct professor for Rutgers School of Business, Camden. She and husband James Ziereis have three children, Lauren, Emily and James Jr.

Other ACBA officers for 2013-14 include president-elect, Samantha S. Wolf, Rosenberger & Wolf; vice president, Joseph A. Levin; treasurer, Eric M. Wood, Fox Rothschild; and secretary, Alexander J. Barrera, Perskie Mairone Brog & Baylinson.

SOSH Architects design award

SOSH Architects has received a Hospitality Design "Fine Dining" Award for its work on American Cut at Revel Casino-Hotel in Atlantic City.

The restaurant mixes a contemporary design with traditional steakhouse touches. SOSH architects on the project included Vince DeGennero, Mike Salerno and Kim McCarron.

Cape Bank appoints two

Cape Bank has appointed two residential lending sales officers.

Lou Santoro has 28 years of mortgage banking experience. He previously managed mortgage departments at PNC Mortgage and Interboro Savings Bank.

Santoro has a home in Wildwood Crest and is married to Cristina, with sons Nicholas and Matthew.

Jim Walls has 10 years of mortgage banking experience and was a loan officer and manager with Ivy League Mortgage, Oak Mortgage, Sun West Mortgage and, most recently, Atlantic Pacific Mortgage Corp.

Walls his wife, Christina, have three children: Trae, Britton and Emelia.

Crest Savings promotes two

Crest Savings Bank has promoted Karen Graham to senior vice president and chief operations officer, and Nancy Cleaver to senior vice president and chief lending officer.

Graham has been with Crest Savings Bank for 16 years as vice president operations/IT. She is a graduate of Rowan University.

Cleaver has been with the bank for three years, joining with 17 years of banking experience. Nancy graduated from Colgate University.

Greate Bay appoints 3

Greate Bay Country Club has named Will Arabea its chief operating officer, Todd Elliott its head golf professional, and Jack Whelan its executive chef.

Arabea was the director of Food and Beverage and has 27 years of hospitality experience, previously as general manager of Blue Heron Pines.

Elliott is a Titleist Performance Institute certified trainer and a PGA professional who spent the past eight years at two golf courses in Naples, Fla.

Whelan has 30 years of experience in the Atlantic City casino industry. He was most recently the executive chef at Harrah's Resort.

Clark re-elected to state chamber

Cape May County Chamber of Commerce President Vicki Clark has been re-elected to the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce board of directors as the current president of the New Jersey Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives.

The New Jersey Chamber of Commerce is a business advocacy organization based in Trenton.

SBA 504 loan free seminar

The Small Business Development Center at Richard Stockton College will offer a free seminar at 8 a.m. Tuesday on the SBA's 504 Loan Program for businesses buying their real estate or equipment.

The seminar at the Stockton's Carnegie Center in Atlantic City is free, but registration required. Call 609-347-2174.

Century Savings service award

Upper Deerfield-based Century Savings Bank has received the New Jersey Bankers Association Community Service Award for its charitable support and volunteer efforts benefiting New Jersey communities in 2012.

Radzieta re-elected to mortuary board

At the June meeting of the New Jersey State Board of Mortuary Science, John L. Radzieta, of the Radzieta Funeral Home in Cape May Court House, was re-elected president of the board for the 2013-14 year.

Radzieta was appointed to the board in January 2010.

Wagner joins medical center

Lauren Wagner, registered dietitian, has joined the nutritional services department at Cape Regional Medical Center.

Wagner graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a bachelor's degree in nutrition. She completed her post-graduate dietetic internship at South Jersey Healthcare, now named Inspira.
