Millville High School’s defense stood tall to beat Atlantic City, 20-6 in a Cape-Atlantic League game Friday night.

Running back Rob Ennis Jr. broke through to score on a 40-yard run in the first quarter to give the Bolts a 6-0 lead.

Millville extended its lead in the third quarter when Kyreem Loatman scored on a 43-yard run to give the Bolts a 13-0 lead. Atlantic City immediately answered on a 65-yard touchdown catch by Isiah Graves to cut the lead to 13-6.

Millville added insurance in the fourth quarter on Ennis Jr’s second touchdown of the game.

The game was played in Millville due to Atlantic City’s field being under construction. The Vikings won’t return to their field until mid-October.
