Josh Blamon scored 20 of his 25 points in the first half to help visiting Richard Stockton College beat Montclair State University 82-75 in a New Jersey Athletic Conference men's basketball game Saturday.

Stockton (16-5, 11-4) has won five of its last six games. Montclair fell to 7-15 (3-12).

Blamon shot 9-for-13 from the field, including 5-for-8 in 3-pointers. Rameel Johnson scored 15 points and had seven rebounds, and Nnamdi Usuwa finished with 13 points and eight rebounds. Kevin Johnson had a career-high 10 assists to go with three steals.

Stockton led 39-29 at halftime, but the Red Hawks tied it at 47-47 with 14 minutes, 31 seconds left in the second half. Stockton responded with an 18-6 run to regain control.

For Montclair, Brandon Sessoms and Ken Rubenstein led with 21 points apiece.

Stockton women's basketball: Unbeaten Montclair State, which is ranked eighth in NCAA Division III by D3hoops.com, beat the visiting Ospreys 62-49 in an NJAC game. Melissa Tobie topped the Red Hawks (22-0) with 18 points, including 12 in the first half when Montclair went up 36-21.

The Ospreys (10-10, 5-9) cut the lead to 11 points in the second half but got no closer. Montclair improved to 14-0 in the conference.

Kelsey Brown led Stockton with 15 points. Alex Nardoza had 12 points, six rebounds, five assists and four steals. Che'Na Thompson added nine points and 11 rebounds.
