The Atlantic Cape Community College women’s basketball team improved to 9-8 with a 56-48 win over host Montgomery County Community College on Tuesday.

Arlene Craig (Abseagmi) and Darice Collier (Absegami) each tallied three steals down the stretch to put the Bucs in position to win. Craig ended with 12 points and six steals.

Collier had 10 points and four steals.

Kerry Player (Cape May Tech) recorded a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds.

Jennifer Lahaman (Absegami) added nine points.

Atlantic Cape men’s basketball: The Bucs dropped to 6-10 with a 92-87 loss to Montgomery County County College. Muji McBride (Atlantic City) led Atlantic Cape with 20 points and 14 rebounds.

Nate Brown (Atlantic City) added 18 points, eight rebounds, six assists and one steal.

Cesar Sandoval (Abse-gami) contributed 14 points.

Ocean County men’s basketball: Larry Brodie scored 23 points to lead the Vikings 79-65 over Sussex Community College. Jeremy Wozniak and added 15 points, while Isaiah Barber and Nicholas Allen each had 11.
