A Tuesday municipal court hearing for former Egg Harbor Township High School standout and Rutgers football player Tejay Johnson was postponed.

Johnson, 21, a redshirt sophomore defensive back, was one of six people arrested in June following a report of an aggravated assault and robbery at a home on Gallant Fox Lane in the Bargaintown section.

A court clerk did not have information on the rescheduled date. The next municipal court date is Tuesday, Oct. 15.

Johnson is a redshirt junior safety at Rutgers.

and has seen playing time this year at safety for the Scarlet Knights. He was The Press High School Athlete of the Year in 2010.
