Casey Derlla knocked in Katie Volor for the go-ahead run in the top of the seventh inning as Millville edged Vineland 5-4 in a Cape-Atlantic League American Conference softball game Tuesday.

Volor, who scored twice in the game, led off the inning with a double.

Pitcher Cassidy Gorgo earned three straight outs in the bottom of the inning to seal the victory. Gorgo pitched a complete game, striking out eight.
