WHO ARE THEY: During the 1960s, The Four Tops were one of Motown’s most successful groups, racking up hit after hit. Fronted by their baritone lead singer Levi Stubbs, The Four Tops scored timeless hits such as “Reach Out, I’ll Be There,” “I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch),” “Baby I Need Your Loving,” “Standing in the Shadows of Love” and “Bernadette.” Following the departure of the famed Holland-Dozier-Holland songwriting team, the group experienced a brief down period in the late 1960s before re-emerging in the early 1970s with the hits “Keeper of the Castle” and “Ain’t no Woman (Like the One I’ve Got).”
WHAT TO EXPECT: More than 50 years may have passed and the lineup may have changed, but thankfully it’s the same old song as far as The Four Tops are concerned. The beautiful harmonies, unforgettable melodies and infectious R&B beats are all still alive and well and concert-goers will be singing and dancing the night away as the group plows through it’s impressive arsenal of hit songs including “I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch),” “Reach Out, I’ll Be There,” “Baby I Need Your Loving,” “It’s the Same Old Song” and “Standing in the Shadows of Love.” These Motown legends will have fans up on their feet clapping and singing along all night.
