WHO ARE THEY: The Sixties Rock Experience is a tribute show featuring both British and American rock music from the 1960s. The show features a talented lineup of performers including director and producer Gary Weinlein as Ian Anderson, Tommy Love as Mick Jagger, Bryan O’Neill as Jim Morrison, Tara Rule as Grace Slick, Scott Garling singing the Moody Blues and Jenna DeBrino performing as Linda Ronsadt, Dusty Springfield and Lulu. Lou Chitty plays guitar and keyboards, Tom Pirozzi plays bass and sings and Chris Turano handles drums and percussion. Sixties Roc Experience also features a horn section.
WHAT TO EXPECT: For those who weren’t alive or old enough to remember the 1960s, or for those who just want to take a fun trip back in time, Sixties Rock Experience at Golden Nugget Atlantic City is the show for you. The show features 11 different tributes split up between the British Invasion and American Rock. From the eastern side of the pond, fans will enjoy tributes to Dusty Springfield, Mick Jagger, Joe Cocker, Jethro Tull, Lulu, The Moody Blues and Led Zeppelin. The domestic lineup features tributes to the Young Rascals, Linda Ronstadt, Jefferson Airplane and The Doors. In addition to all of the great music, the show also highlights the strong political and social issues that were a part of the times and were expressed by these artists through their songs and words.
