WHAT IS IT: “Late Nite Catechism” is a solo comedic play written by Vicki Quade and Maripat Donovan which premiered in 1993 and went on to achieve incredible success. With only one actress on stage portraying the nun, the audience takes on the role of students in a classroom. In addition to plenty of laughs, the show also helped raise money for needy retired nuns.

WHAT TO EXPECT: Anyone who remembers their Catholic school days or who heard tales of woe from friends or relatives will want to check out “Late Nite Catechism” at Harrah’s Resort Thursday night. The interactive comedy show is amongst the longest running shows in theater history and has received rave reviews. The audience becomes Sister’s class and will be whisked back to the days of Latin Mass and corporal punishment, only this time with lots of laughter and less tears.

SHOW INFO: Tickets are $29.99, and the show begins 8 p.m. Thursday, April 10, at Harrah’s.
