WHO IS SHE: Comic veteran Joan Rivers has enjoyed a diverse and immensely successful career which has spanned four decades. “The Queen of the one-liners” as she is sometimes referred, has won a Daytime Emmy Award for Best Talk Show Host, and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Comedy Recording in 1985. She was also nominated for a Tony Award in 1994 for her lead role in “Sally Marr…and Her Escorts.” The Brooklyn, N.Y., native is also famous for her runway interviews and commentaries at major award ceremonies.

WHAT TO EXPECT: With her gravely, unmistakable voice permeated by a heavy New York accent, Joan Rivers has been entertaining audiences on the comedy circuit for years. In the early years, Rivers’ act often revolved around self- deprecating humor, but some of this has faded with time and been replaced by Rivers’ ability to critique others, especially celebrities. Her blunt, off-the-cuff style has enamored her to millions. Fans can expect to see a show riddled with sarcasm and wit.

SHOW INFO: Tickets are $44.50 and $49.50, and the shows begin 6 and 9 p.m. Saturday, March 8, at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa’s Music Box.
