Atlantic City Aquarium

Atlantic City Aquarium at Gardner's Basin displays fish, reptiles and amphibians. Admission: $8 adults, $5 children. Call 609-348-2880. Saturday to Monday, May 25 to 27: diver show 11 a.m.; ray feeding noon and 3 p.m.; exotic animal show 2 p.m.

Stranding center

The Marine Mammal Stranding Center, at 3625 Brigantine Blvd., Brigantine, is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays, with free museum and tours. Call 609-266-0538.

Cape Wildlife National Wildlife Refuge

Free family nature walks 9 a.m. Saturdays at Two Mile Beach Unit of Cape May NWR, Ocean Drive south of Wildwood Crest. Call 215-341-1044.

Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge

Guided birding and nature walk 9 to 11 a.m. Fridays, starting at Forsythe NWR visitor center, off Route 9 in Oceanville, Galloway Township. Call 609-652-1665, ext. 21.

Free bird/nature walk 9 a.m. Fridays.

Nature Center of Cape May

The Nature Center of Cape May, 1600 Delaware Ave., has viewing tower and store. Call 609-898-8848.

Harbor walk with seining at 11 a.m. Saturdays; $8.

Family horseshoe crab program 1 p.m. Saturday, May 11; $8.

Schooner Meerwald

Public sails aboard the Bayshore Discovery Project's oyster schooner A.J. Meerwald include pirate sail 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 25; and birding sail 8 a.m. to noon and "staycation" sail 1 p.m. Monday, May 27; from its home port in the Bivalve section of Port Norris. Cost is $15 to $30 adults, $6 to $20 children. Call 856-785-2060.

Cape May Point State Park

Cape May Point State Park has nature trails and museum. Call 609-884-2159.

Free Saturday programs include beginner's bird walk 9 a.m., live animal program 11 a.m., and nature walk 2 p.m.

Wetlands Institute

Wetlands Institute, 1075 Stone Harbor Blvd., Stone Harbor, has displays and gift shop. Admission $8 adults, $6 ages 3 to 12, includes activities. Call 609-368-1211.

Salt marsh film and guided walk 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. every day.

Animal program 12:30 p.m. Fridays and Mondays; seashells 12:30 p.m. Sundays; science program 12:30 p.m. Wednesdays.

Cape May Bird Observatory

NJ Audubon's CMBO has the Research & Education Center, 600 Route 47, Middle Township, and the Northwood Center on Lily Lake in Cape May Point. Call 609-861-0700.

Saturday: Belleplain State Forest at 7:30 a.m.; meet at forest office. Rea Farm (The Beanery) in West Cape May at 7:30 a.m.; at parking lot. Tree walk at Belleplain State Forest at 11 a.m.; meet at forest office. Relaxed birding at Cape May Point State Park at 3 p.m.; at platform. Sunday: Cox Hall Creek WMA at 7:30 a.m.; at parking area, Shawmount Ave. Wildlife walk at Belleplain State Forest at 10:30 a.m.; at forest office. Monday: Cape May Migratory Bird Refuge with Pete Dunne at 7:30 a.m.; meet at lot. Tuesday: Photo birding walk at Cape May Point State Park at 8 a.m.; at platform. Easy birding at Cape May Point State Park at 9 a.m.; at platform. Wednesday: Cape May Point State Park at 7:30 a.m.; meet at platform. Nummy Island at 4:30 p.m.; meet just south of free bridge from Stone Harbor.
