Fine French cuisine extends to Atlantic City when world-renowned chefs Chris Scarduzio and Georges Perrier present a delectable menu paired with wine at the Atlantic City Country Club in Northfield on Thursday, March 26.

"People can expect a little bit of what the Country Club doesn't usually offer," says Scarduzio. For $99 a person, attendees receive a first-class event with the expertise of Scarduzio and Perrier, who are well known for Mia at Caesars Atlantic City as well as Brasserie Perrier and Table 31 in Philadelphia.

Scarduzio explains his sommelier, Luca Cimmarotta of Table 31, helped choose the wines. The courses were then matched, completing the dinner planned out by Scarduzio and Perrier.

Beginning at 6 p.m. the reception kicks off with cheeses, fruit and pat paired with Mumm Cordon Rouge. An appetizer of warm vichyssoise soup garnished with poached oysters crme fraiche and caviar follows.

The fish course presents sauted Durade Royale, lobster pomme puree, bouillabaisse sauce and a crab salad garnish paired with Louis Latour Puligny Montrachet 2005. The centerpiece of the dinner is a savory filet mignon served with cepe mushroom risotto and a Bordeaux wine sauce. Served with the entre is St Julien Clos du Marquis 2002.

The night is topped off with a sweet serving of warm individual Valrhona chocolate gateau with pistachio ice cream paired with Muscat de Beaumes de Venise 2004.

"The dinner itself is going to be spectacular and I'm very excited to be teaming up with Harrah's and Atlantic City Country Club," says Scarduzio.
