Following its popular night of martinis, The Ebbitt Room’s Culinary Series has reached its night of scotch and cigars Thursday, July 26.
Chef Lucas Manteca has crafted a four-course menu that pairs with a selection of scotch and cigars that many will appreciate.
Starters include a crab and seafood cappuccino with Laphroaig 16-year-old scotch, plus roasted scallops with bacon and tomato paired with Talisker 10-year-old scotch.
The Ebbitt Room also keeps its farm-to-table mentality alive during its culinary series, as it introduces entrees of grilled entrecote of beef and plantain-wrapped mahi-mahi with farm-fresh produce and herbs.
A local vendor will be providing after-dinner cigars for the event.
For $55 a person, you can enjoy fine cigars and perfectly aged scotch to go with Chef Manteca’s creative menu.
“Whether you are a ‘foodie’ or ‘cigar aficionado’ or just someone who wants to come out and have fun, this affordably priced culinary experience is sure to please,” Chef Manteca says. “I believe the unique menu we’ve created using produce and herbs from the farm will leave all in a haze of contentment.”
