Egg Harbor Township is about to get a new gourmet dining experience - Kings Lounge.

The eatery is set to open its doors 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, with a grand opening celebration o include menu samplings, specially priced cocktails and live entertainment.

Kings Lounge will be open 5 to 11 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays for dinner.

Owner Michael Beshay is behind the project, with a menu crafted by Executive Chef Chris Cassel. The menu will have a little something for everyone, as dishes will include Asian, Italian and Middle Eastern influences.

With options such as pan-seared imported Pacific Rim sesame-glazed halibut ($28), handmade chicken, pork, veal and scallion-seared dumplings ($9), Cassel calls the menu "an eclectic fusion with modern sensibilities."

The only thing more alluring than the menu may be the atmosphere, which should feel like you're dining in a high-end metropolitan restaurant, according to a Kings Lounge press release.

"Kings Lounge is best enjoyed by those looking to get away and enjoy an experience in a unique atmosphere," says Beshay, who designed and built the inside and outside of the establishment. "Everything from our King's throne at the entrance to the fireplace to the papyrus menus is in place for guests to feel comfortable in an environment outside the norm."
