Who needs beer and wine when you can sip martinis all night? The Ebbitt Room at The Virginia Hotel is celebrating the versatile drink with their Culinary Series Thursday, May 17.

Guests at The Ebbitt Room can enjoy fresh drinks that incorporate the farm-to -table experience at the restaurant.

Chef Lucas Manteca has even paired these fresh, specialty cocktails with his meals, such as the strawberry caipirinha with Cape May's Beach Plum Farm strawberries and the citrus risotto with Beach Plum Farm smoked ham.

For $45 per person plus tax and gratuity, patrons can indulge in a perfectly-paired, four-course meal that starts with a snap pea martini, made with organic gin, tonic and citrus syrup, to compliment Beach Plum Farm's deviled eggs.

"Whether you are a 'foodie' or just someone who wants to come out and have fun, these specially priced unique culinary experiences … are sure to awaken your sense and lift your spirits and welcome summer," Manteca says.

The continuing culinary series started with a "Night of Bubbly" in March and will continue with a scotch and cigars event in July, which will feature hand-rolled cigars with paired scotches.

Reservations are required for the event. Call 609-884-5700.
