Webb at Appel Farm

Jimmy Webb, right, a Grammy-nominated songwriter known for pop masterpieces "By the Time I Get to Phoenix," "MacArthur Park," "Up, Up and Away" and more, brings his musical magic to Appel Farm Arts and Music Center in Elmer at 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5. Webb spins tales at the piano, performing from his legendary songbook. Prior to the concert patrons are invited to attend Circles of Hope Art Show and Reception sponsored by the AIDS Coalition of Southern New Jersey at the Appel Farm Gallery from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Concert tickets are $30 and include admission to the art show. Bring the kids (ages 5 and older) to the Mrs. Claus Holiday Celebration at 2 p.m. They'll hear stories and holiday songs and dance, followed by a snowglobe-making workshop. Admission is $8. Bevin Caulfield, a multitalented singer/songwriter and musician with deep southern New Jersey roots, entertains with her songs about relationships, social issues and evolving as a human being in the smaller venue First Fridays @ the Gallery at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4. Trains in Ocean City

The popular annual holiday train show returns to Ocean City Music Pier, Moorlyn Terrace and the Boardwalk, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6. Vendors will be on hand selling trains, accessories and memorabilia. Technician Dick Yard will be making on-site repairs. Admission is $3 for adults and $1 for children. Call 609-525-9300.
