'Les Miserables' at Surflight
The international musical hit "Les Miserables" will make its Surflight Theatre premiere on Wednesday, July 31, at 8 p.m., as part of the theater's 64th season of "Broadway at the Beach."
The Tony Award-winning musical touches on the struggles during the 19th century French revolution. Convict Jean Valjean, on the run for breaking his parole, must leave his past behind and keep his vow to raise the young, orphaned Cosette. But with revolution in the air, Valjean has no choice but to fight for his life and sacrifice everything to protect the people he loves. The show runs every day through Aug. 24 except for Monday, Aug. 12, and Monday, Aug. 19.

'Boeing Boeing' at Cape May Stage
Cape May Stage will present Marc Camoletti's comedy "Boeing Boeing," opening Wednesday, July 31 and running through Sept. 13.
The winner of the 2008 Tony Award for Best Revival, "Boeing Boeing" follows Bernard's engagements to three different stewardesses - each working for a different airline - while Bernard works to carefully maintains a balance with three separate lives. Artistic Director Roy Steinberg directs the show.
Boeing Boeing will run at the Robert Shackleton Playhouse at the corner of Bank and Lafayette Streets in downtown Cape May. Performances are Tuesdays through Sundays at 8 p.m. Tickets are $35 for adults, $30 seniors 62 and older and $15 for students. A half-price preview performance will take place on Wednesday, July 31. Sunday, Aug. 18 will be a special half-price night for seniors.

Bobby Collins at JCC
Bobby Collins will bring his trademark wit to the Milton & Betty Katz JCC in Margate on Thursday, Aug. 1, at 7 p.m., as part of the Summer Entertainment Series.
With more than 200 stand-up performances around the country each year, Collins is a show business institution who has made millions laugh. Collins, former host of VH1's "Standup Spotlight," keeps his shows fresh with new observations based on everyday life and his travels around the country.
The show takes place in the Katz JCC auditorium, 501 N. Jerome Avenue, Margate. Tickets are $35.
Chicken Bone Beach presents Pucho and His Latin Soul Brothers
Pucho & His Latin Soul Brothers will take the Kennedy Plaza stage in Atlantic City on Thursday, July 25, as the 14th annual Chicken Bone Beach Jazz on the Beach Series continues.
The Chicken Bone Beach Historical Foundation, Inc. and Atlantic City Free Public Library present the free concert series, which takes place on Thursdays in July and August from 7-10 p.m. at Kennedy Plaza, located on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, between Mississippi and Georgia avenues.
Timbales player Henry "Pucho" Brown helped introduce the Boogaloo movement. Brown founded His Latin Soul Brothers in 1959, and the group was well-known for fusing jazz, Latin, soul and funk. The opening act is Latin Wave.

'Midsummer Night's Scream' at Dante Hall
The School of Arts and Humanities of The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey is sponsoring the production of "Midsummer Night's Scream" – a production featuring '50s and '60s-style music and lyrics and based on Shakespeare's "Midsummer Night's Dream."
"Midsummer Night's Scream" features upbeat music performed by members of the Stockton Faculty Band, including Rodger Jackson, David Pinto and Peter Hagan. Alumnus Tyler Riley directs the show, co-written by Dean of General Studies Rob Gregg. Cast members include alumni David Carey and Arnelle Lyles and current students Ray Westphal, Isabella Fiore, Madeline Barrows and Emma Reynolds.
Show times are Friday, July 26, at 8 p.m., Saturday, July 27, at 2 and 8 p.m. and Sunday, July 28, at 2 p.m. at Dante Hall Theater, located at 14 N. Mississippi Avenue, Atlantic City. Tickets are $20 for Adults, $18 for seniors and all Stockton affiliates (with ID), and $10 for Children 12 and under.
