Atlantic City Aquarium

Atlantic City Aquarium at Gardner's Basin displays fish, reptiles and amphibians, with diver shows, baby-shark and ray feeding. Admission: $8 adults, $5 children. Call 609-348-2880.

Holiday-break schedule Sunday, Dec. 26, to Dec. 31: Diver feeding show, 11 a.m.; visitor feeding of juvenile sharks and rays, noon and 3 p.m.; exotic animal show, 2 p.m.

Cape May

Bird Observatory

N.J. Audubon's CMBO will close for the holidays its Research & Education Center, 600 Route 47, Middle Township, and Northwood Center on Lily Lake in Cape May Point, on Friday, Dec. 24, and reopen the first week of January. Call 609-861-0700.

State Park

Cape May Point State Park has nature trails, wildlife platform and museum. Call 609-884-2159. Volunteers sought for vine control.

Nature Center

Nature Conservancy

The Conservancy's Bayshores Center, 2350 Route 47, Delmont, has nature trails. Call 609-861-0600.

Outdoor Club of SJ

The Outdoor Club of South Jersey will lead an 11-mile hike among pygmy pines , 9 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 26, starting at Lake Oswego parking lot, Washington Township. Visit www.ocsj.org.

Wetlands Institute

Wetlands Institute, 1075 Stone Harbor Blvd., Stone Harbor, has an aquarium, displays and gift shop. Admission of $8 adults, $6 ages 3 to 12, includes activities. Call 609-368-1211.
