Atlantic City Aquarium

Cape May Bird Observatory

NJ Audubon's CMBO has the Research & Education Center, 600 Route 47, Middle Township, and the Northwood Center on Lily Lake in Cape May Point. Call 609-861-0700.

Weekly birding (and other) trips June 27 to July 3 - Cost $10; show and go. Thursday: Casual birding at Cape May Point State Park at 8:30 a.m.; meet at hawk-watch platform. Nature walk at Cox Hall Creek WMA at 9 a.m.; meet at west end of Shawmount Avenue, Lower Township. Friday: Cape May Migratory Bird Refuge at 6:30 p.m.; meet at lot, Sunset Boulevard. Saturday: Cape May Point State Park at 7:30 a.m.; meet at platform. Photo birding walk at Cape May Point State Park at 7:30 a.m.; at platform. Sunday: Wildlife walk at Belleplain State Forest at 10:30 a.m.; at forest office. Monday: Cape May Migratory Bird Refuge with Pete Dunne at 7:30 a.m.; meet at lot, Sunset Boulevard. Wednesday: Cape May Point State Park at 7:30 a.m.; meet at platform.

Cape May National Wildlife Refuge

Free family nature walks 9 a.m. Saturdays at Two Mile Beach Unit of Cape May NWR, Ocean Drive south of Wildwood Crest. Call 215-341-1044.

Cape May Point State Park

Cape May Point State Park has nature trails and museum. Call 609-884-2159.

Free Saturday programs include beginner's bird walk 9 a.m., live animal program 11 a.m., and nature walk 2 p.m.

Free Cape May Young Birders Club walk for ages 10 to 18 at 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 2.

Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge

Guided birding and nature walk 8 to 10 a.m. Fridays, starting at Forsythe NWR visitor center, off Route 9 in Oceanville, Galloway Township. Call 609-652-1665, ext. 21.

Free bird/nature walk 9 a.m. Fridays.

The Nature Center of Cape May

The Nature Center of Cape May, 1600 Delaware Ave., has viewing tower and store. Call 609-898-8848.

Harbor walk with seining at 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays; $8.

Stranding center

The Marine Mammal Stranding Center, at 3625 Brigantine Blvd., Brigantine, offers a free museum and tours. Call 609-266-0538.

Seining field trip 9 p.m. Friday, June 28, at Lagoon Boulevard and Ocean Drive West; $5.

Wetlands Institute

Wetlands Institute, 1075 Stone Harbor Blvd., Stone Harbor, has displays and gift shop. Admission $8 adults, $6 ages 3 to 12, includes activities. Call 609-368-1211.

Salt marsh film and guided walk 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m. weekdays; 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. weekends.

Animal program 11:15 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. weekdays; seine-net outing 3:15 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; turtle program 5 p.m. Tuesdays; seashells 10 a.m. Sundays.
