Wetlands Institute

Wetlands Institute, 1075 Stone Harbor Blvd., Stone Harbor, has displays and gift shop. Admission $8 adults, $6 ages 3 to 12, includes activities. Call 609-368-1211.

Atlantic City Aquarium

Atlantic City Aquarium at Gardner's Basin displays fish, reptiles and amphibians. Admission: $8 adults, $5 children. Call 609-348-2880.

Atlantic County Parks

Free course in orienteering, navigating the woods with compass and map at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, at Atlantic County Park at Estell Manor, Route 50 south of Mays Landing; must preregister.

Register now for free nature classes for 3- to 5-year-old preschoolers at 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. Dec. 6 at Fox Nature Center, Estell Manor park.

Cape May Bird Observatory

Field trip to Barnegat Light State Park for harlequin ducks and other waterfowl, short-eared owls, etc., 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1; $35; preregister.

Cape May Hawkwatch concludes Friday, Nov. 30, at Cape May Point State Park platform. Avalon Seawatch continues 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at Seventh Street and ocean, Avalon; free.
