Bayshore Discovery Project

"Superstitions of the Sea" celebration 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. April 13 with stories by Jim Albertson, music by Rich Fuller & Friends, art by R. Denny Blew, and astronomy by Fred Schaaf, with food and beverage; also marketplace, cafe and good-luck charms workshop. At Bayshore Discovery Project, 2800 High St., Port Norris. Call 856-785-2060.

Cape May Point State Park

Cape May Point State Park has nature trails, museum and free programs. Call 609-884-2159.

Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge

Guided birding and nature walks 8 to 10 a.m. Fridays, starting at visitor center. To reserve, call 609-652-1665, ext. 21.

Marine mammal center

The Marine Mammal Stranding Center, 3625 Atlantic-Brigantine Blvd., Brigantine, offers group tours for a fee. Museum and gift shop open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. Call 609-266-0538.

Nature Center Cape May

N.J. Audubon's Nature Center of Cape May, 1600 Delaware Ave., has exhibits and observation tower; admission is free. Call 609-898-8848. Nature programs for toddlers 2 to 4 years and parents/grandparents 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Fridays; preregister; $8.

Family campfire 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 6; cost is $5. Family 12-mile bike tour to natural areas on Cape Island 11 a.m. Saturday, April 7; $5; preregister. Landscape design workshop with author Pat Sutton 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 14.

Nature Conservancy

The Conservancy's Bayshores Center, 2350 Route 47, Delmont, has nature trails. Call 609-861-0600.

Wetlands Institute

Wetlands Institute, 1075 Stone Harbor Blvd., Stone Harbor, has displays and gift shop. Admission (temporarily) $4 adults, $3 ages 3 to 12, includes activities. Call 609-368-1211.

TurtleFest II, with pancake breakfast, activities, silent auction and live turtles, will be held 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 7.

Atlantic City Aquarium

Atlantic City Aquarium at Gardner's Basin displays fish, reptiles and amphibians. Admission: $8 adults, $5 children. Call 609-348-2880. Easter week, April 6 through 15: diver feeding show 11 a.m.; visitor feeding of rays noon and 3 p.m.; exotic animal show 2 p.m.

Cape May Bird Observatory

NJ Audubon's CMBO has the Research & Education Center, 600 Route 47, Middle Township, and the Northwood Center on Lily Lake in Cape May Point. Call 609-861-0700.

Guided birding from Cape May-Lewes Ferry 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, March 24; $35 includes round-trip ferry passage; preregister.

Belleplain State Forest at 7:30 a.m.; meet at forest office, Route 550, west of Woodbine. Casual birding at Cape May Point at 3 p.m.; at Hawkwatch Platform. Sunday: Cox Hall Creek WMA at 7:30 a.m.; at parking area, Shawmount Road, Lower Township. Monday: Cape May Migratory Bird Refuge with author Pete Dunne at 7:30 a.m.; meet at lot, Sunset Boulevard. Tuesday: Photo walk at Cape May Point State Park at 8 a.m.; at Hawkwatch Platform. Easy birding at Cape May Point State Park 9 a.m.; at platform. Wednesday: Cape May Point at 7:30 a.m.; at Hawk Watch platform. Nummy Island at 4:30 p.m.; meet just south of free bridge from Stone Harbor.
