Atlantic Audubon

Vinnie Turner, biologist with Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge, speaks on the effects of Hurricane Sandy on the refuge at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the meeting of Atlantic Audubon Society, Galloway Public Library, 360 E. Jimmie Leeds Road.

Atlantic City Aquarium

Atlantic City Aquarium at Gardner's Basin displays fish, reptiles and amphibians.

Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge

Guided birding and nature walk 8 to 10 a.m. Fridays, starting at Forsythe NWR visitor center, off Route 9 in Oceanville, Galloway Township. Call 609-652-1665, ext. 21.

Nature Center in Cape

The Nature Center of Cape May, 1600 Delaware Ave., is closed until April 14. Call 609-898-8848.

Stranding center

The Marine Mammal Stranding Center, at 3625 Brigantine Blvd., Brigantine, is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays, with free museum and tours. Call 609-266-0538.
