Cape May Bird Observatory

NJ Audubon's CMBO has the Research & Education Center, 600 Route 47, Middle Township, and the Northwood Center on Lily Lake in Cape May Point. Call 609-861-0700.

Field trip to Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge and/or nearby areas 1 to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23; $35; preregister.

Cape May Hawkwatch dawn to dusk daily to Nov. 30, at Cape May Point State Park platform; free. Avalon Seawatch 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at Seventh Street and ocean, Avalon; free.

Weekly birding (and other) trips Thursday to Wednesday, Nov. 22 to 28 - Cost $10; show and go. Saturday: Rea Farm in West Cape May at 7:30 a.m.; at Beanery lot, Bayshore Road. Monday: Cape May Migratory Bird Refuge with author Pete Dunne at 7:30 a.m.; meet at lot.

Cape May Point State Park

Atlantic City Aquarium

Atlantic City Aquarium at Gardner's Basin displays fish, reptiles and amphibians.

Friday, Nov. 23, specials: Diver feeding show 11 a.m., hand-feeding rays noon and 3 p.m.; exotic animal show 2 p.m.

Story time 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27: "Rosie Ray, a Tale of Watery Wings." Admission: $8 adults, $5 children. Call 609-348-2880.

Nature Center of Cape May

N.J. Audubon's Nature Center of Cape May, 1600 Delaware Ave., has exhibits and observation tower; admission is free. Call 609-898-8848.

Upcycle Craft Workshops for Home and Garden on repurposing products and waste materials at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Dec. 4; $20 per workshop; preregister.

Register now for holiday wreath and garland workshops 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 29 to Dec. 1, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 30 (Girls Night Out), 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Dec. 1, and 1 p.m. Dec. 2; cost of $20 includes materials.

Wetlands Institute
