Atlantic City Aquarium

Atlantic City Aquarium at Gardner's Basin displays fish, reptiles and amphibians. Admission: $8 adults, $5 children. Call 609-348-2880. Preschool story time 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, followed by diver or exotic animal show.

Atlantic County Parks

Butterfly garden

Author Pat Sutton will give a free talk on creating a butterfly and hummingbird garden at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 22, in the Northfield Community School Cafetorium, New and Mill roads.

Cape May Bird Observatory

Monday: Cape May Migratory Bird Refuge with author Pete Dunne at 7:30 a.m.; meet at lot, Sunset Boulevard. Wednesday: Cape May Point at 7:30 a.m.; at Hawk Watch platform.

Marine mammal center

The Marine Mammal Stranding Center, 3625 Atlantic-Brigantine Blvd., Brigantine, offers group tours for a fee. Museum and gift shop open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. Call 609-266-0538.

Nature Center of Cape May

N.J. Audubon's Nature Center of Cape May, 1600 Delaware Ave., has exhibits and an observation tower; admission is free. Call 609-898-8848.
