Fans of jazz will have a lot to look forward to this weekend, as Bonerama makes its way to Somers Point for a free concert 7 p.m. Friday, June 22.

The band has been featured on HBO's TV series "Treme" and is a popular act at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.

As part of the Somers Point Beach Concert Series, Bonerama will make its way to the William Morrow Beach/Municipal Beach Park between Higbee and New Jersey avenues on Bay Avenue in Somers Point.

With three lead trombones, this high-energy band is sure to have everyone dancing in the crowd.

The band is known to perform classic tunes by bands including Led Zeppelin and the Allman Brothers, so there is sure to be a little something for everyone as they go from funk to rock 'n roll to brassy sounds.

The Somers Point Beach Concert Series takes place every weekend through Sept. 7 and features free concerts from popular bands around the country. Other acts set to take the stage this summer include Rick Estrin & The Nightcats July 13, The Billy Walton Band with Arthur Migliazza Aug.10 and the party dance band Jill West and Blues Attack Aug. 31.
