“Doing AC” by Ventnor artist Grace Zambelli won first place in the “Jersey Shore, Jersey Strong” art show at Art on Asbury gallery in Ocean City. The show runs to the end of August. (Submitted by Ocean City Fine Arts League)

A celebration of all South Jersey has to offer, from the back bays to the wineries, is featured in "Jersey Shore, Jersey Strong," running to the end of August at the Art of Asbury Gallery in Ocean City.

The Ocean City Fine Arts League decided to host the show in an effort to support the shore and local artists. The show opened in July, but since all the artwork has been available for purchase, as each piece sold artists have been replacing them with other unique shore-themed pieces, so new artwork is always on display, said gallery directors.

Ventnor artist Grace Zambelli's painting "Doing AC," was awarded the first-place prize in the juried show, while her husband, Michael Zambelli, received an honorable mention.
