Multimedia artist's work hits Hammonton

“The Oldest House in Hammonton” is among the works by Hammonton artist and photographer Sam Moffa on exhibit at the Hammonton Branch of the Atlantic County Library System through April.

Multimedia artist Sam Moffa takes over the gallery area of the Hammonton Branch of the Atlantic County Library System for the month of April.

The exhibit, which highlights the diversity of his work, includes oils, pastels and acrylic paintings as well as photographs and some examples of his latest venture, paper marbling.

Moffa is a founding member of the Hammonton Arts Center, as well as the Focal Point photography group. He also teaches the art of working in stained glass. Moffa's paintings and photographs have been displayed from New Jersey to Florida and his talents have earned numerous Best of Show and First Place spots.

The library gallery is curated by the Hammonton Arts Center and the exhibit changes monthly from its pool of artists. The library is located at 451 Egg Harbor Road. Atlantic County

•Paintings from "Paint Downtown Hammonton: The Sixth annual Plein Air Event," can be viewed through April 27 at the Hammonton Arts Center, 219 Bellevue Ave. The event, sponsored by the HAC and the Noyes Museum of Art, drew artists from five states. •Stockton's Visual Arts Senior Exhibition runs through May 3 at the Stockton College Art Gallery, located on the main campus, adjacent to the Performing Arts Center, Jimmie Leeds Road, in Galloway Township.
