Works of art in various textures and forms by pottery students at the Ocean City Arts Center are exhibited this month for a special holiday show.

Views will see one-of-a-kind bowls, mugs, wall hangings and decorative pieces, and many will be for sale, according to Executive Director Rosalyn Lifshin.

The pieces were all created by students of pottery teachers Susan VanDuyne, Janet Kurland and Joe Dimatteo. Many of the pottery students have decades of experience in creating ceramic pieces.

“Our pottery students have worked hard for the past year to create fine ceramics which can be utilized in the kitchen or serve as a beautiful home decoration,” Lifshin said in a prepared statement.

The public is invited to attend a free “Meet the Artist” reception 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6. The exhibit will remain in the gallery through Dec. 21.
