Two generations of photographers in Hammonton

The works of photographer Judith Heyman and her granddaughter, Allison Heyman, are currently on exhibit at the Hammonton Branch of the Atlantic County Library System.

As a little girl, Allison Heyman used to watch her grandmother, Mays Landing photographer Judith Heyman, as she took pictures of people and places. Inspired, she grew up to follow her grandmother's art form.

Today the two women are both members of the Focal Point photography group of the Hammonton Arts Center. Their works are part of a joint exhibit on display through the rest of the month at the Hammonton Branch of the Atlantic County Library System.

Judith Heyman, who belongs to multiple photo clubs and has won numerous awards, says she loves to travel and take portraits of people she meets. Allison Heyman shares the family passion of travel, capturing her favorite scenes and locations on film.
