Stubborn Brothers is an awesome place to hit up after the beach and grab a cold one. Cape May Convention Center

It’s not every day a huge convention building is just a few footsteps away from the beach. But in Cape May, you get the luxury of enjoying shows right on their Promenade at CMCC. or example, from 8 to 10 p.m. Thursday, July 30, catch a free movie screening of “Jaws” while relaxing on your beach chair or blanket just outside the building. A nature and wildlife show will take place 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, and check out entertainer Rich Lessig host a great magic show 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4. LandShark in A.C.

You can stumble upon Landshark Bar & Grill right from the Boardwalk. It’s covered and surrounded by windows, giving you a tiki bar during summer, and a sheltered getaway during the offseason. Acoustic soloists and bands bring music in the afternoon and early evening, making it the perfect place to start your night. Family Night in Ocean City

Every Thursday night in July and August is Family Night on the O.C. Boardwalk, hosted by the crew at Jilly’s. The lights go down and the music comes on as local DJs and many other entertainers get the crowd pumped up with music, dance competitions, lip syncing contests and the Electric Slide. Free prizes such as such as ice cream, ride tickets, video games and Jilly’s T-shirts are frequently given away to participants. Band Shell in Sea Isle City

Sea Isle is a popular beach destination and it’s main attraction, of course, is its flawless shoreline, which can be viewed from the boardwalk. If you’re in the heart of downtown at night, stop by Sea Isle’s outdoor Band Shell, where you’ll find free entertainment throughout the summer, such as weekly concerts, family dance parties and movie night under the stars. R&B band Masquerade will take Band Shell’s stage 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, and at dusk Tuesday, Aug. 4, they will show the film “Planes — Fire and Rescue.” Band Shell is located at John F.
