Chickie's and Pete's

Chickie’s and Pete’s at Tropicana Casino and Resort offers various specials for the Super Bowl including $2 beer deals, $3 mixed drinks and many other specials for the game.

Ben Fogletto

So no area teams are in the Super bowl this year. That doesn’t mean true sports fans can’t rally around the teams that made it to the big game.

This year, local restaurants, bars and pubs will be helping us celebrate by offering special foods, drink specials, giveaways and prizes — and even takeout specials if you just want to sit around the flat screen at home and party.

It should be a good game. If not, there are always those commercials.
