Chef Ruben Nunez will be whipping up some great dishes during Restaurant Week at Tisha’s Fine Dining Restaurant in Cape May.

To get an early start to the summer, Cape May Restaurant Week is coming to town Sunday, June 2, through June 9 for eight days of delicious menus.

More than 25 restaurants are putting together three-course dinners and two-course lunches for a special prix-fixe option.

Lunches will be $15 per person, while dinners will be either $25 or $35 per person, depending on the restaurant or the menu selection of the guest. Tax and gratuity aren't included.

For lunch, patrons can try Tisha's, where you can choose between main courses such as Kahuna Panini, grilled chicken with baby greens, tomato relish, mozzarella and basil pesto; or the chefs burger with crispy bacon, fried onions, fried jalapenos, and Velveeta cheese. Then, indulge in bread pudding or New York cheesecake for dessert.

The great thing about Restaurant Week is being able to sample the delicacies of restaurants you wouldn't normally break the bank for, thanks to their discounted menus.

One option you can take advantage of is the $35 menu at The Lobster House. Choose between starters such as oysters Rockefeller, Lobster House combo or a bowl of lobster bisque. Entrees include a one-and-a-half-pound lobster, a lobster tail with scallops and shrimp over linguine with garlic butter or a New York strip steak. And don't forget about dessert, with choices including creamy cheesecake, chocolate mousse or bread pudding with brandy sauce.
