When it comes to gourmet dining in Atlantic City, you can't ignore the tempting wine dinners.
Trattoria Il Mulino at Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort is embracing the popular event and is hosting a four-course wine-pairing dinner 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 18.
The dinner - which is $90 per person and includes tax and gratuity - will feature four courses and Palm Bay International Manager Doug Santoro.
Passed hors d'oeuvres include crostini with roasted red pepper and mozzarella, mini Italian ricotta meatballs, pizzette with prosciutto and arugula, and mini truffle arancini, all paired with Aneri Prosecco to start of the night.
Next on the menu is Trattoria's paccheri pasta with snow crab claw and vegetable broth, and Bottega Vinaia Pinot Grigio, 2011, to wash it down.
The second course features Arctic char with braised fennel and grape sauce paired with Col D'Orcia Banditella Rosso Di Montalcino, 2010. For the third course, guests can enjoy shredded Barolo lamb with fava beans paired with Fontana Fredda Serralunga d'Amba Barolo, 2007.
No dinner is complete without a little dessert to end the evening - if you have any room left over, that is. Patrons can sip on Bottega Petalo Moscato Spumante as they indulge in berry panna cotta.
