The Jacksons will be wrapping up their year-long Unity Tour with several East Coast dates, including a stop on Saturday, July 27, at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City.

The former Jackson 5, whose members include brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine and Marlon, have spent much of this year overseas in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and North Africa.

Their local appearance comes as their mother, Katherine Jackson, has been testifying in a Los Angeles courtroom in the wrongful death lawsuit filed by her and the three children of their late brother, Michael Jackson.

The lawsuit alleges tour promoter AEG Live is responsible for Michael Jackson's 2009 death since it "hired, retained or supervised" Dr. Conrad Murray, who was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in Jackson's death, according to a CNN account.

The brothers plan to pay their musical respects to their late brother and former lead singer with a special section of the show. Among the Michael Jackson solo material featured in the set will be "Rock With You," "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin" and "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough."

"We have a piece in the show where we do a whole tribute to (Michael)," Jackie Jackson tells the Sentinel of North and South Brunswick. "(We show him) recording as a kid or just kicking around the house and singing songs.

"It's a very bittersweet moment, because at times people are crying, but then they start cheering, laughing and dancing again."

Of course, Michael Jackson's shadow will loom large over the entire set, given that his soaring vocals powered most of the iconic group's biggest hits.

The set surveys the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers' career, from their earliest Motown days as the Jackson 5, when they released such classics as "I Want You Back," "ABC" and "The Love You Save," the latter three performed as a medley.

The performance also features later hits, such as "Blame It on the Boogie" and "Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground)," after the group left Motown and renamed itself The Jacksons, as well as Jermaine Jackson's solo hit, "Let's Get Serious."

"I think (our ongoing success) has to do with the music - the lyrical content of the song, the beat, the melody and the chorus to sing along," Jackie Jackson says.

"Our music's not offensive. It's something that everybody can really enjoy."

The Jacksons are basking in the glow of their first world tour in many years.

"It's been unbelievable," says Jackie Jackson. "We haven't been over there (in Europe, Australia and Africa) in such a long time, but they welcomed us back with open arms."

The tour has also helped bring the surviving Jackson brothers closer together.

"There's nothing like it," Jackie Jackson says. "I'm so happy that we're doing (the Unity Tour). It's so exciting to have your brothers out there with you."
