Catch a live Phillies game outside without leaving the beach. Comcast SportsNet, the Phillies and Atlantic City Alliance are hosting a free “Phillies at the Beach” viewing party Thursday, Aug. 29 in Atlantic City at Arkansas Ave. and the beach beginning at noon.

The event gives fans the chance to watch the Phillies take on the Mets from a massive mobile movie screen right on the sand. The Comcast SportsNet broadcast of the game begins 1 p.m.

The “Phillies at the Beach” viewing party will also feature plenty of pre-game festivities, including a visit from the Phillie Phanatic and Phillies Ballgirls, sand-sculpting lessons, trivia, and prizes. Comcast SportsNet’s Amy Fadool will emcee the event.

‘Alice’s Curious Adventures in Wonderland’ at

Middle Township PAC

The Queen of Hearts, the Cheshire cat and all the mysterious characters from inside the rabbit hole will take to the stage this weekend, when Roseheart Production presents “Alice's Curious Adventures in Wonderland” at the Middle Township Performing Arts Center.

Show times are 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30 and 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for children. Matinee seats are $8.

Historic World War II Bombers at 17th Annual

AirFest in Wildwood

The Naval Air Station (NAS) Wildwood Aviation Museum, located at the Cape May Airport, will once again partner with The Collings Foundation to host the 17th annual AirFest and the 2013 Wings of Freedom Tour Friday, Aug. 30, through Monday, Sept. 2.

Famous WWII aircraft will be visiting Cape May County and historic Hangar #1 for four days. The tour will feature the P-51 Mustang, B-17 Flying Fortress and B-24 Liberator. The public will be given a once in a lifetime opportunity to view, explore and even take a flight in these historic planes.

The NAS Wildwood Aviation Museum features more than 26 aircraft displays as well as exhibits of military memorabilia, engines, photographs and interactive exhibits that allow visitors to discover the science of flight. The Aviation Museum is open daily 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum is located inside Historic Hangar #1 at the Cape May Airport. Cape May Airport was formerly Naval Air Station Wildwood, which served as a World War II dive-bomber training center.

David Brenner at JCC

Legendary comedian David Brenner will come to the Milton & Betty Katz JCC in Margate for one night only 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29.

Brenner, a South and West Philadelphia native and Temple University graduate, has had a remarkable career as a comedian, actor and author. He has four HBO specials and has appeared on The Tonight Show” more than any guest in the show’s history (158 appearances).

Tickets are $40. JCC Members receive a $5 discount. The event is open to the public.

9th Annual Wildwood Block Party and Music Festival

Enjoy Labor Day weekend with free family fun and music at the 9th Annual Wildwood Block Party and Music Festival Sunday, Sept. 1.

The end-of-summer celebration will take place from noon until 11 p.m. at Fox Park, located on Ocean Avenue directly across from the Wildwoods Convention Center. The festivities will include games, crafts, food, merchandise vendors and free live music.

The entertainment lineup kicks off with Bittersweet at noon and will include the Jeremiah Hunter Band, Just In Time, Sounds of Society, Purple Reign, Lime, The Trammps, Norma Jean & Luci Martin (the original lead singers of Chic) and Martha Wash (the original Weather Girl) closing out the show at 9:45 p.m.
