Sample the best short films being shown at festivals around the world during the Asbury Shorts 36th Anniversary Short Film Concert, which makes a stop in Atlantic City, 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17.
Taking place at Dante Hall, New York City’s longest running short film exhibition will return to South Jersey as part of its annual tour. The program, presented by Dante Hall Theater and Asbury Shorts USA, features national and international award-winning short films. The show will be hosted by Director of Entertainment Publications the Press of Atlantic City and WOND News Radio personality Scott Cronick.
The festival began in 1980 in a church basement and has since grown to a celebration of film that presents throughout the country and the world. Expect a fast-paced night that is sure to entertain both short-film enthusiasts and those who just like a good story, with films that were chosen for their entertainment quality from festivals both nationally and internationally.
