Boxing at New Jersey Motorsports Park

Undefeated Jr. Middleweight Thomas "Cornflake" LaManna will come to New Jersey Motorsports Park In Millville on Saturday, Nov. 10, for a battle against an opponent to be named in a six-round bout.

Gulfstream Boxing Promotions will present the "Birthday Bash" night of boxing, a first at New Jersey Motorsports Park. LaManna will be fighting in his hometown of Millville for the first time, two days before his 21st birthday. LaManna, 9-0 with 5 KOs, is coming off of a six-round split decision victory over Yolexcy Leiva on Aug. 18 in Atlantic City.

In the six-round co-feature, undefeated Jr. Welterweight Anthony "Juice" Young of Atlantic City will see action against an opponent to be named. Competing in eight-round bouts will be undefeated super middleweight Derrick Webster and junior lightweight Joselito Collado.

Former WBO and Olympic gold medalist heavyweight world champion Ray Mercer and former two-time IBF cruiserweight world champion Steve "USS" Cunningham will be special guests at the event.

Music of Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen at Landis Theater

Music from two of the most influential and enigmatic performers and songwriters of their generation will come to life in "Love, Lust, Fear and Freedom: The Music of Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen," 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, at the Landis Theater in Vineland.

Singer and actress Lauren Fox and her trio will perform the songs from the two artists. The format consists of 16 songs - nine by Joni Mitchell and seven by Leonard Cohen - creating a dialogue between the two masters in a moving revelation of familiar and well-loved songs.

The program is part of the Appel Farm Arts & Music Center's inaugural season of "Appel Farm at the Landis." Throughout the year, the events range from alternative and classic rock bands to folk icons, tributes and more.

Off Broad Street Players' 'Annie' at Levoy Theatre

The Off Broad Street Players will present the Broadway classic "Annie," above, directed by Beverly Beardsley, beginning Friday, Nov. 9, at the Levoy Theatre in Millville.

The show will run Nov. 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17 and 18. Friday and Saturday shows begin at 8 p.m. Sunday performances begin at 3 p.m. and Thursday shows are at 7:30 p.m.
