'Pippin' at Eagle Theatre
Collaborative Stage Productions will present the classic musical "Pippin," above, opening at The Eagle Theatre on Friday, April 20.
Guest artist Liz Filios, a Barrymore Award nominated star of stage and television, will play the role of The Leading Player, the role actor Ben Vareen originated on Broadway.
Pippin, the winner of four Tony Awards, is about the musical journey of a young man as he tries his hand at war, politics, sex and the common life. Dann Dunn is directing and choreographing the show.
Pippin will run on the following dates: 8 p.m. April 20, 21, 26, 27, 28, May 3, 4 and 5, and 3 p.m. April 22 and 29 at the Eagle Theatre, 208 Vine St., Hammonton. Go to www.theeagletheatre.com.
Stockton Benefit Gala
The Stockton College Foundation will host the 32nd Annual Stockton College Scholarship Benefit Gala, returning for the third straight year to Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City on Saturday, April 21.
The evening's events begin at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception and silent auction. Dinner, program and silent auction take place from 7:30 to 9 p.m., followed by entertainment and dancing until 11 p.m.
Up-and-coming singer Isabelle and Stockton's own faculty band will provide entertainment for the evening.

'Third Thursday' Presents 'Fairy Tale Evening'

'Ellington, Gershwin & Friends' at Stockton
Master pianists Meral Guneyman and Dick Hyman, right, will show off their flying fingers and piano-playing prowess on the stage of the Campus Center Theatre on Monday, April 23, for "Ellington, Gershwin & Friends."
The performance is part of the Performing Arts Center's Monday night jazz series.
