Now in it’s 20th year, South Jersey Area Wind Ensemble will celebrate with a concert at Stockton University Performing Arts Center on Monday.


For 20 years, the South Jersey Area Wind Ensemble has been delighting audiences across the region with its concert music. On Monday, April 24, it will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a speical performance.

Taking place at Stockton University’s Performing Arts Center, the “flashback” concert highlights popular pieces performed by the group in the past two decades. The band will be conducted by Music Director Keith W. Hodgson, in addition to other honored guest conductors.

The ensemble is comprised of 65 individuals from the community with musical backgrounds including music teachers and professional casino musicians. The group received the 2006 Sudler Silver Scroll Award from the John Philip Sousa Foundation, which recognizes outstanding concert bands in North America.
