'Total Faith' in Cape May

Tony Award-winner Faith Prince, above, will bring her critically acclaimed, one-woman show "Total Faith" to Cape May Stage's Robert Shackleton Playhouse 8 p.m. Monday, July 23.

Prince's latest concert brings her personal adventures to life through the songs of some of America's greatest composers, including Harold Arlen, Menken & Ashman, Stephen Sondheim, Kander & Ebb, Rodgers & Hart and Jerry Herman.

Prince currently appears on the Lifetime hit series "Drop Dead Diva" as Brooke Elliott's mother, Elaine. She was a regular on Showtime's "Huff," and appeared on the series "Spin City."

"Total Faith" is part of Cape May Stage's Second Stage Broadway Series. Tickets are $50 and include an afterparty at the Wine Bar at the Washington Inn, located at the corner of Washington and Jefferson Streets. There, guests will have the opportunity to mingle with Prince while enjoying free hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.

'A Perfect Ending' debuts at Resorts

One woman's struggle for passion and intimacy - ultimately discovered with another woman - is the theme explored in the independent film "A Perfect Ending," premiering 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 23, in the Screening Room at Resorts Casino Hotel.

The film stars Barbara Niven, Jessica Clark, John Heard and Morgan Fairchild. Nicole Conn wrote and directed the film, which features a score by Smithville composer Bob Fowler and is co-produced by Smithville resident Melanie Rice.

The screening will be followed by a question-and-answer session with Conn, Marina Rice Bader, Niven, Rice and Bob and Kathy Fowler. The afterparty will take place in Pro-Bar at Resorts. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Greater Atlantic City GLBT Alliance.

Summer Chill Wine Festival at Renault Winery

Ten New Jersey wineries will come together at Renault Winery Resort & Golf for the Summer Chill Wine Festival, taking place Friday, July 20, and Saturday, July 21.

Amalthea Cellars, Bellview Winery, Dimatteo Vineyards, Plagido's Winery, Sylvin Farms, Tomasello Winery, Sharrott Winery, Wagonhouse Winery, Auburn Road and Renault Winery will each have their latest vintages on hand to sample and enjoy noon to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, July 21. Tickets are $20.

A "Meet the Winemakers" cocktail reception will take place 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 20, and includes the chance to meet and talk with each winemaker and sample premium vintages. Renault chefs will provide hors d'oeuvres, a carving station and a pasta station. A limited number of $50 tickets are available.

Special wine festival hotel packages, which include an overnight stay at the Tuscany House Hotel and tickets to one or both wine festival events, also are available.
